The Government of Telangana has been a pioneer in creating a world class innovation ecosystem while developing a strong base for entrepreneurs and start-ups through various ecosystem enablers. To this end, WE Hub was also created in 2018, with a vision to promote and foster women entrepreneurship. To expand the funnel for women to be part of the economic workforce and increase their ease of doing business, a one stop solution catering to the needs of women entrepreneurs across sectors and socio-economic strata has been created, through TS – SWP (Single Window Platform).
SWP is one-of-a-kind initiative by the Government of Telangana that seeks to enable women entrepreneurs to set-up, scale up and innovate as successful businesses and start-ups.
SWP seeks to create opportunities for women entrepreneurs across various socio-economic strata to start-up and operate their business through three key instruments: Women Entrepreneur Certification, a financial support framework called WE Bridge (coming soon), and enable targeted interventions through WE Equip.
WE Hub, A Section 8 company under the IT E&C Department will be the nodal agency facilitating SWP. WE Hub will act as a convenor & implementation entity for implementing the said initiative.
